Portrait Taking

We will be taking your individual portrait and a group picture on Friday, October 29. It will take place during and after the rehearsal. Please come dressed or change for the picture.
Ladies, please dress in black ( black shirt, black pant, black skirt or black dress)
Gentelmen, please bring your tuxedo or come dress in it.

Young Violinists Open House

We had another successful open house. Over 150 people attended the event. For the new season, we have 40 new young violinists ranging from 4 to 24 years old. Attendees were treated with superb violin performances and delicious refreshment.

Strings Only

Reminder: This Friday, September 17 will be for strings only. The rest of the orchestra members can take a day off.

Don't forget our first practice and registration social is this Friday, September 10th at 6:30pm. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to get ready. Registration social is at 8:00pm. Parents are welcome. Remember to bring your music, the registraion form and committee sign up form. See you all on Friday.

Rehearsal and Registration Social

Welcome to the 2010-2011 Season. Hope you all had a nice summer. Our first practice is on Friday, September 10th at 6:30pm. Please arrive early to get ready. Please bring the following music, Egmont, Moldau, Finlandia, Carmen, Vivaldi Quartet Concerto ( Strings only).

Registration packet has been e-mailed to you. Please bring the registration form and committee sign up form to be turned in at the reception.

Registration reception will be at 8:00pm. All parents are welcome. Come and join us for the fun and reunion.

June 19th, Summer Concert

Our 2009-2010 season ended with a summer concert on June 19th. Favourite Orchestral Classics and patriotic songs were performed. Everyone that attended the concert was electrified by our music. Thank you Mr. Su for a wonderful season. Thank you musicians for your participation. Thank you parents for your continued support. See you in September.

Congratulations!! Another successful concert! Thank you for all your hard work. We had a full house. You all deserve a big round of applause. Lots of compliments were received on behalf on all of you. Good Job.

Spring Concert Reminders

The concert is just around the corner. We only have a few tickets left. It is going to be a full house. The following are a few reminders:

Dress rehearsal: Thursday, March 4 6:30pm at the church-regular attire
Concert Date & Time: Friday, March 5 7:00pm at the Armstrong Theatre
Dress Code: Men-Black Tuxedo, Ladies-Black Dress or Black Top and Bottom
Parking and Entrance: There will be a separate entrance and parking for orchestra members only. Map will be distributed on Thursday.
Call time: 5:00pm ( please come dressed as we will be videotaping)
Light dinner will be served to all musicians on the day of the concert

2010 Spring Concert, March 5 at the Armstrong Theater

The tickets are selling fast for our Spring Concert. Be sure to get your tickest before it runs out. Give them out as gifts to your family and friends. They will thank you for an enjoyable evening. Additional Rehearsal and 2010

In preparation for the March 2010 concert, we are holding 2 extra rehearsals on December 11 and December 18 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Please plan to attend.

For 2010, our first rehearsal will start on Jan 8 at 6:30pm-Strings Only. Full orchestra rehearsal will start on Jan 15 at 6:30pm
